The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

SERVICES OF THE FUNERAL HOME AND STAFF

1. MINIMUM SERVICES OF THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF
   The fee for our services will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, forwarding or receiving remains, direct burial personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Arrangement conference with a Licensed Funeral Director. Coordination of service plans with cemetery, crematory, and other parties involved with final disposition. Clerical assistance with completion of necessary forms associated with a funeral. Securing and recording the death certificate, burial transit permits (if needed).

2. FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT

Use of facilities for a funeral ceremony (Church/Chapel)

3. EMBALMING
   Except in certain special cases, Texas law does not require embalming. Embalming is necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements such as one with public viewing. If you do not want embalming, you have the right to select arrangements that do not require you to pay for it: cremation or direct burial.

Services of Funeral Director, staff, and overhead, use of facilities for viewing, use of facilities and equipment for funeral ceremony i.e. church/chapel) embalming, dressing casketing, cosmetology, transfer of deceased from place of death to mortuary (50 miles), lead car/pallbearer, transportation to cemetery (50 miles) utility/flower vehicle, stationary package.

Items not included:
Casket, outer burial container (if required by cemetery), flowers, clothing, family car, cemetery charges/open and close grave or fees, honorariums, hairdresser or other third party expenses.

This service package includes:
Services of Funeral Director, staff, and overhead, use of facilities for viewing, direction of graveside ceremony at cemetery, embalming, dressing casketing, cosmetology, transfer of deceased from place of death to mortuary (50 miles), transportation to cemetery (50 miles) utility/flower vehicle, stationary package.

Items not included:

Cremation casket, urn, flowers, clothing, honorariums, other third party business expenses.

This service package includes:
Direct cremation with alternative container, use of facilities and equipment for memorial ceremony (i.e. chapel/church), stationary package and cremation process.

Items not included:
Flowers, honorariums, other third party business expenses.

This charge includes removal of remains, necessary services of staff, embalming, necessary authorizations and permits, and a minimum shipping container.

This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body or transportation expenses.

This charge includes temporary shelter of remains, transportation of remains to the cemetery (50 miles), services of the director and staff.

This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies.

This service includes:
The basic services of the Funeral Director and Administrative staff for obtaining and filing legal documents, removal of deceased from place of death to the mortuary (50 miles radius), refrigeration for 48 hours, sanitary care of the remains, transportation to the cemetery (50 mile radius)

This does not include:
Embalming or other preparation, viewing, services, memorial book, folders, acknowledgement cards, grave digging or outside enclosure.

COPPER

In most of the country, no state or local law make you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries ask that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a burial vault or grave liner will satisfy these requirements.

OTHER SERVICE ITEMS

We adhere to State Law Depth Requirements: any deviation for extra size or depth will be an additional fee. Some cemeteries have interment fees set by their respective committees; these fees must be paid to the cemetery before burial. Also, some cemeteries require you to sign an interment authorization form before the grave will be marked for digging.

Rose Hill Mausoleum has available “The Rose Chapel,” and it may be rented for entombment services at a cost of $25.00 per hour, with a two-hour minimum. To prevent discoloration of the granite floors, potted plants and flowers are allowed on the floor of the Mausoleum only during the service.
