Funeral services for Roberta Sue Herrington, 69, Tyler, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Dr. Paul Powell  officiating. Burial will follow in Mason Cemetery near Arp.

Mrs. Herrington passed away February 1, 2012 in Tyler. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on June 12, 1942 to the late Robert and Willie Lea Ivey. She retired from Stewart Blood Bank in Tyler and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Herrington.

Survivors include one brother, George C. Ivey of Carson City, NV and one grandchild.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers: Curtis Ivey, B.J. Herrington, Randy Rogers, Nathaniel Cunningham, Chris Ivey, Bobby Herrington, Rusty Rogers, and Fleming Cunningham.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
