Pauline Chandler Wade passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012.  She was born December 3, 1924 in Warren, Ark.  After high school graduation in July 1944 she went to Washington, DC, and worked as a clerk typist in the Signal Corp Technical Committee Department in the Pentagon.  At war’s end she returned home for a short while, then to Tulsa, Ok, and worked for Braniff International from July 1946 to 1982 and retired.  She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Care and Share Sunday School Class.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Chandler; eight brothers and one sister.

                She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Calvin Lawrence wade of Tyler; by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Becky Wade of Calgary, Alberta Canada; two grandchildren, Christy and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.

                Visitation is scheduled at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday.        

Graveside services will follow for Mrs. Wade at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Dr. Darryle Dunks officiating, under direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
